In a 3DLE, the learner becomes an actor in a virtual world in which the technology creates the spatial, temporal, and material conditions for both immersion and interactivity, driving a multiplier effect on learner engagement. Learners see themselves in relationship to the challenge at hand and experience the consequences of their actions related to the accomplishment of a given activity or challenge.
